Visa Sippola was born on 29 October 1993. He began studying the piano with Meri Louhos at the piano pedagogy department of the Sibelius Academy and with Arja Suorsa-Rannanmäki at the Music School of Eastern Helsinki. Since the autumn of 2004 he has been studying with Hamsa Al-Wadi Juris and Matti Raekallio at the Junior Sibelius Academy.

Visa Sippola has appeared as a soloist and as a chamber musician in Finland, Estonia and Great Britain. In 2002 his trio won the first prize (ex aequo) in the Erkki Melartin Chamber Music Competition. In 2004 he won the first prize in the Young Musician Competition arranged by the European Union of Music Competitions for Youth (EMCY) in Tallinn.

In 2006 Visa Sippola performed a Mozart concerto at the SibaFest Festival at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki.

Besides music, Visa is widely interested in life - from science to snowboarding.
