Dmitry Mayboroda was born on 8 November 1993 in Moscow. Since 2000, he has been a student of the Central Musical School with the Moscow State Conservatory named after P. I. Tchaikovsky in the class of Valery V. Pyasetskiy, Assistant Professor and honoured artist of Russia.
Dmitry is a prize-winner of the Rotarys First National Musical Competition in Moscow (November 2002), the VIIth International Competition of Young Pianists named after Vladimir Kraynev in the city of Kharkov (March 2004), IVth International Competition of Young Pianists Jurmala-2004 in Latvia (May 2004, first prize), VIth International Television Competition of Young Musicians "Nutcracker" (Moscow, November 2005, first prize) and the IIIrd Open Competition of Young Pianists in the city of Yaroslavl named after Alexey Nasedkin (December 2005, first prize).
He took part in the Music Festival in Reinhau (Germany, 2003), the IInd International Piano Festival in St. Petersburg (2004) and the XIIth Festival "New Names in Nyzhniy Novgorod" (2005) and has performed on tour in various cities of Italy, France and Russia.
Dmitry has performed with the "Slobozhansky" Youth Symphony Orchestra under Gabriela Heine (USA), the Chamber Orchestra of the city of Jurmala under Normund Vaicis (Latvia) and "The Moscow Camerata" Chamber Orchestra under the direction of Professor Igor Frolov.
