Markéta Januková was born in 1989 in Prague.Since 2004 she has been studying with Professor D. Vlachová at the Prague Conservatory.
Markéta Januková has won many national and international competitions, the Concertino Praga, the Čirenie Talentov in Slovakia and the Kocian Violin Competition. She has performed with outstanding Czech orchestras and artists, including Vaclav Hudeček, Josef Suk, Lubomír Brabec, Petr Vronský and Leo Svárovský. Markéta Januková is regularly invited to perform in concerts, not only in the Czech Republic but also in Germany, Slovakia and Austria.
